Karaage appetizer- sauce is good but karaage itself was just meh. I wouldn't get it again Salmon avocado roll was not bad Philadelphia roll was good Spicy scallop roll was ok. Lots of texture but not much flavor imo Manhattan was alright. Tuna and salmon on outside, Kani crabmeat on inside Happy roll I thought was just ok New York roll I very much enjoyed. I would get this again for sure. Lots of sashimi on top and was tasty

Delightful happy hour selections and attentive service make this a perfect lunch spot. The focus is more so on the apps than the sushi but everything was delicious and well prepared. The fish was just fine, not impressive but not bad. The ambiance is casual and the dining experience was quick and simple.

6 stars if I could! Love this sushi. They give such generous pieces! The sushi/sashimi combo for 2 is for sure gonna fill you up! We usually order that to go. But if we sit at the restaurant we will hand pick some rolls. They are never that crowded, I think they are just a hidden gem. Sushi is fresh and reasonably priced. I pretty much want TAKI once a week!

Favorite no-fuss sushi in Denver. Cozy indoor seating, fresh fish, friendly and prompt service. I used to order take-out often when I lived nearby and now like to sit at the table by the window when we go out to eat. Authentic and reasonably priced. If you live nearby, delivery was always super quick!

Taki has been a solid choice for years. I hadn't been in to the actual restaurant in a while because we usually do takeout but the kiddo was hungry after school and we realized we'd never been in person with him! He was impressed with the freshness of his Avacado rolls and salmon nigiri. We also splurged and got the fried Icecream, another first and delicious! Service was friendly and prompt, we will be back for sure!

This is a solid sushi spot! I have found it great for takeout and they're quick -- it's typically about 15-20 minutes from order to pickup. I'm a fan of their tuna avocado roll. The avocado gives it a nice creaminess that elevates it from regular tuna maki. The miso soup is good too, with a nice amount of seaweed and tofu. I've also tried the eel avocado maki, but the eel was a little too chewy. Overall, it's an affordable, good spot if you're in the neighborhood.

Met some friends here per their recommendation for dinner this weekend. Parking was a little tough - a busier/more popular area. But I did eventually find a spot down the road. My friends said we should get there before 6 to make use of the happy hour specials - was more than happy with my glass of wine for $5.50 (and it was good!) I would have preferred prosecco but they only sell that in bottles. We all ordered a mix of sushi (though we weren't actually sharing) and it came out all on one dish but they clearly pointed out which was which. I ordered the spicy tuna, spicy scallop and spicy shrimp. None of them were spicy - definitely need to add some of that spicy roe on top or something to add a kick cause the kick was definitely not there. The flavors were really good - I enjoyed the scallop and shrimp rolls quite a bit. Around 6:30/7 the place got completely packed so coming on the earlier side is probably a good call as it is not a massive place. The staff was friendly and came over frequently to refill our water glasses and see if we need anything else. Our waitress had even asked if I wanted a drink before the happy hour ended at 6 which I appreciated. Overall fairly happy with the drinks, meal and service, just wanted a little more heat to the spicy rolls. I would come back though - very reasonable prices.

Taki Sushi is a gem in Washington Park. Our kids live in the area and frequent this place, and wanted to take us there while we were visiting from Cincinnati. It will now be a regular go-to when we visit! The staff is very friendly and our server, Art, was great. It's too bright inside, and could do with some toning-down and warming-up the lighting. For appetizers we ordered the kid's favorite; Garlic Broccoli. It was cooked perfectly and we asked for the extra sauce to be put in a cup to dip into the rest of the dinner because it was that good. We also had the Cucumber Sashimi off the appetizer menu. It was extremely fresh tasting and the cucumber was the perfect compliment to the tuna. The Yellowtail Jalapeño Hamachi was fabulous. I cut up one ring of jalapeño per bite of cod and it was perfect. And I never miss a chance to order Miso Black Cod if it's on a menu. This version was executed perfectly and presented with nicely cooked asparagus. We followed up with four different sushi rolls. Every single one was so fresh and delicious. The sake and the Rose wine were both delightful as well. Two other great aspects of this place is that they are open till 10pm and reasonably priced! This is actually a 4.5 star review if I could do that.
